Linda S. Setter, 71, of Gwinn, passed away on Thursday evening, June 10, 2021 at U.P. Health System- Marquette.
She was born February 25, 1950, in Ishpeming, a daughter of the late Howard and Agnes (Jacobson) Setter. She was a 1968 graduate of Gwinn High School and was a lifelong area resident.
Linda was employed at Big Boy and spent 11 years as a clerk at UP Home Health & Hospice.
She attended Little Lake Chapel and enjoyed photography, camping, fishing, hunting, listening to country music and going to concerts.
Linda is survived by her longtime companion, Gary Fugate of Gwinn; sister, Christine Setter of Gwinn; uncle, Marvin (Maxine) Jacobson of Gwinn, nieces & nephew, Cindy (Paul) Hartley of Omaha, NE, Sandy (Donald) Maki of Skandia, Brandi Salzwedel of Gwinn and William (Stacy) Setter of Gwinn; sister-in-law, Pat Setter of Gwinn; step-children, Kirsten (David) LeClair of Kenosha, WI and Gary Fugate, Jr. of Kenosha; numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Doc. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Beverly, Howard and Cheryl.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 5 until 6 p.m. at Canale Gwinn Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Ron Westman officiating.
