"Janice was a wise..funny..thoughtful caring woman & girl! I lived across the street on North 9th during 7th & 8th & 9th grade..We were best friends together with Lindy..Janice would sit on her front porch in a rocker with her record player right there?maybe Bill Haley & Rock Around the clock..all the good music! To me they were the ?Leave It To Beaver? family & Janice was always there for me..she knew everything..almost like a mom but my best friend..in the last two years we rekindled that young friendship..long conversations of all our memories..anything to take attention away from the pain she was suffering..hopeful that all those treatments would work..but cancer knows no pity & returned with a vengeance?I knew my friend was tired & finally surrendered..The good news..not until she met precious Claire?I thank God her children never failed to be there..she was so proud of all of them ..I am in denial that she is gone..we both loved CBS Sunday Morning with Jane Pauley..I miss our discussions about that & a lot more..I miss my friend?.Stay strong, we will all be together again?"
