"My thoughts and prayers are with Helen's family during this unbearable time. Helen was a caring and classy lady who hired me back in 1979 at the Civic Plaza. She taught me so much and I was always greatful that she mentored me in a way that lead me to a successful career with the City. I ran into her about five years ago at a local breakfast place here in Phoenix and she looked just like I remembered her. I still remember her laugh. Helen may you rest in paradise for ever. Thank you so much for taking my hand and sharing your kindness. "
