William Dale Miller
June 4, 1946 - June 3, 2021

Miller, William Dale (Dale) age 74, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Cumming GA. Dale, the son of the late William and Lois Miller of Centerville, OH, was born on June 4, 1946 in Dayton, OH. He was a member of the 1964 class of Centerville High School in Centerville, OH. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served the United States Airforce from 1965 to 1969. He earned a BS in 1975 from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH. Dale worked for many years as a PGA Golf Club Professional and served the members of the Moraine Country Club in Dayton, OH, Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, GA and Indian Hills Country Club in Marietta, GA. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Travel Agent at Sun International Travel in Norcross, GA and enjoyed traveling throughout the world and playing golf. After his retirement, he became an active member of the Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution and later served as its Chapter's Secretary. He continued to enrich the lives of others as a volunteer at Canine Assistants in Milton, GA. He will be remembered for his love, laughter and fierce loyalty.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Veronica; 2 brothers James Miller (Jennifer) of Cumming, GA and Alan Miller (Heather) of West Carrollton, OH; sister-in-law Margaret Jeffcoat (Wilber) of Sumter, SC; 2 nieces Nichole Miller Martin (Rob) Louisville, KY and Deborah Jeffcoat Phillips (Bill) Sumter, SC; 3 nephews Joshua Miller (Stephanie) Centerville, OH, Zachary Miller Cumming, GA and Christopher Jeffcoat (Lisa) Waxhaw, NC; 3 great nieces Brooke Miller Centerville, OH, AnnMargaret Phillips Sumter, SC and Carol Jeffcoat Waxhaw, NC; 2 great nephews Nash Martin Louisville, KY and Christopher Jeffcoat Charlotte, NC.

Visitation for family and friends will be held June 25 11:30AM- 12:30PM at Ingram Funeral Home 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery Canton, GA at 2:00PM with Rev. Wilber Jeffcoat officiating. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Canine Assistants, 3160 Francis Road Alpharetta, GA 30004.
