Willene Sexton
September 1, 1926 - June 5, 2021
Willene Sexton, age 94, of Cumming, GA, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Worley Sexton, her father, Egbert Sexton, her sister Christine Sexton Samples, and her brother-in-law, Narmon Samples.
Survivors include niece Joy and her husband Rev. Ruben Boling; grandnephews, Matthew Boling and wife Taylor, Daniel Boling and wife Rachel; great-grandniece and great- grandnephew Sutton and Shepherd; and numerous cousins.
The family extends a special thank you to the caregivers and staff at Cumming Nursing Center where Willene was an employee for years before she became a resident.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Sam Rickett and Rev. Gary Coffey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
