Kathy Elaine Nottingham

Kathy Elaine Nottingham, 72, died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at her Jonesboro residence.
Kathy was born on October 6, 1948 in Marion, Indiana, daughter of the late Richard and Imojene (Harreld) Galbreath. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1966. She married Gary M. Nottingham on November 15, 1968. They were happily married for 31 years before he preceded her in death. Kathy was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Betty Nottingham, and Curtis, the family dog.
Kathy's fine attention to detail helped her excel in successfully being a legal secretary, managing the Nottingham Family Farm, and raising two beautiful daughters. Kathy loved Christmas, and had the gift of always finding the perfect knickknack. She loved making memories with Larry on the many bus trips they took.
Kathy is survived by her significant other of many years, Larry Barnes; daughters, Holly Paddock, Anderson, Heather (Patrick) Hickok, Cicero; grandchildren, Cinch Nottingham Paddock, Issiac Max Hickok, and Ella Mae Hickok; sister, Vicki (Mike) Nottingham, Florida; sister-in-law, Sandy (Nottingham) Templeton, Anderson; cousin, Becky (Bob) Johnson, TN; Larry's children; Brady (Samantha) Barnes and their children, Chelsta, Callee, and Cambry Barnes; Beth Barnes, and her children, Braylee and Brystal.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where visitation will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 PM. Funeral will be at 12 PM with Pastor Clint Flanders officiating. Entombment will be at Vinson Cemetery, Summitville.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Ave., Marion, IN 46953 or in care of the funeral home.
