A graveside service for Ron will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at East Lawn Cemetery in Algona.
Ronald Gail Wolf was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on August 29, 1951, son of Gail and Martha Wolf of Lu Verne.
Ron grew up on a farm East of Lu Verne, graduating from Lu Verne High School in 1969. He graduated from Waldorf College in 1971 and then attended Iowa State University for 2 years.
Ron was a life-long farmer and an avid gun collector and dealer for many years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lu Verne.
Ron passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, while working on the farm. He was 69 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Wolf, and a son, Kaleb Wolf, both of Lu Verne; and daughter, Madie Frith and 2 children, Dubuque. He is also survived by a sister Deb (Don) Bristow of Algona, and niece, Molly (Chad) Berte and their daughter Emerald Shipler (son Braxton) of Algona; and nephew, Adam Bristow and children Jazmin and Autumn of Algona. Ron is also survived by Aunts and an Uncle and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his dad, Gail Wolf.
