Frank E. Turner

Francis E. "Frank" Turner, age 80, of Payson, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 11:51 am in Hannibal, MO.

Frank was born October 2, 1940 in Augusta, Illinois, the son of Marion F. and Katherine Olinger Turner. He married Janna Stiles on October 1, 1994 in Palmyra, MO. She survives.

Frank worked over 30 years for Litteral/Speedrack in Quincy. He later worked as a machinist at Marlboro Wire and as a cross country driver for Shottenkirk. Frank loved spending time with family and friends; often playing pool, darts, or horseshoes. He was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed woodworking and mowing his yard.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: two children, Tina Wellman-Kendrick and Tony Turner, both of Payson; four grandchildren, Shanna (Jason) Brinks, Shane (Jamie) Wellman, Skylar (Shane) Richmiller, and Tristan Brown; three great grandchildren, Jaxon and Isla Brinks, and Hadley Wellman; one great grandchild on the way; and two siblings, Carol Hester of Oklahoma, and Chester Turner of Ewing, MO.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ernie Turner, a sister Kay Shaw, and a daughter Tammy Brown.
