In loving memory of

Mark A. Lagonegro
June 19, 1957 - June 4, 2021

Passed away on June, 4, 2021 at the age of 63. Predeceased by his adoring father, Paul R. Lagonegro. Mark is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Dorothy Lagonegro; brothers, Paul R. Lagonegro II, Kirk (Jennifer) Lagonegro, and Alan (Zina) Lagonegro; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Kwabena) Yeboah, Nicole, Colleen, Sean, Samantha, and Matthew Lagonegro, and great-niece, Sophie; several cousins; and his CDS Lonesome Road Family.

Mark was a miracle baby; the first infant to survive open heart surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital. Mark could be seen riding his bike all over Fairport, but was most proud of graduating from the School of the Holy Childhood, his achievement with the Boy Scouts earning the rank of Eagle Scout, and participating in Special Olympics, always bringing home several medals. Mark enjoyed camping, bowling, watching movies, playing video games, coffee, the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with family and friends.

Help us celebrate Mark's life during visiting hours at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 6-8 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:15 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulcher immediately following the mass. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Mark's memory to the Monroe County Special Olympics, 1 Grove Street, Suite 216, Pittsford, NY 14534; Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623; or Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 East River Road, P.O.
