"Matt-You will be in our hearts forever. We really missed seeing you and your smile over the last year due to the pandemic and really wish we could have seen you and hugged you. Our thoughts are with your family and all that loved you. We of course have many fantastic memories of you which will remain with us forever. It is so sad to have to write a tribute to you but is written with lots of love.
We are strongly pulling for the Suns with you in mind during the games and hope you are following the games.
You will be loved forever and never forgotten and you will be in our hearts forever. Love you lots!

"Matt- growing up you and Brandon were the brothers I never had. Some of my best memories were driving across the desert with my family to come and visit for the weekend. This weekend I will make that same trip with my own little family to say goodbye to you. It just doesnt seem real. I will always remember your smile and your contagious laugh. I can only hope you are in a better place. You will be missed. Love you. "
