Gini Lee Hubbard Smith, age 52, of Cumming, Ga. of Cumming, Georgia passed away on May 26, 2021 [in a tragic accident.
Gini was born on February 24, 1969 in Gwinnett County, Georgia but Cumming, Georgia has been her lifelong home. She is the Daughter of Ronald C. Hubbard of Cumming, Georgia and Rita M. Martin, Griffin, Georgia.
Gini is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Smith and brother, Ronald Hubbard, Jr. Glini had an infectious smile and laugh and loved to sing. She was a strong powerful person who, when faced with the diagnosis of cancer on September 11, 2019, fought that fight like a true soldier, never surrendering and stayed steadfast on her course. But her battle was cut short. Gini is survived by her son, Charles "Blake" Hubbard and his fiancé', Melinda Nichols of Cumming, Georgia. two grandchildren, Alexi and Gauge Hubbard, father and stepmother, Ronald and Hazel Hubbard, of Cumming, Georgia, mother Rita Martin, of Griffin, Georgia, sister Sheri Hubbard, Griffin, Georgia, sister Heidi Hubbard of Cumming, Ga. and several nieces and nephews aunts and cousins, as well as her precious pup, Tessa.
Visitation will be at Ingram Funeral Home, Cumming, Ga. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Services will be Friday June 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home followed by graveside at Sawnee View Gardens where she will be laid to rest.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Children's' Cancer Research Center
