In loving memory of

Terence Lemark Harris
June 24, 1972 - May 23, 2021

Terence "Mark" Harris was born June 24, 1972 in Shuqualak, Mississippi and was raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the first child of parents Lena Thomas of Omaha, Earl Bryant of Shuqualak, and Stepfather Sherman Thomas of Omaha. He attended Lewis and Clark Junior High where he played basketball and football, South High School and he earned his diploma at Metropolitan Community College.

Mark was a loving son, brother, father, cousin, and friend. Mark worked various jobs, but when not working, he was a simple man, and loved to watch all sports, especially football, the Chicago Bears. Many loved him for his contagious laugh, and laid back, polite and humble ways. He treasured his daughter and loved the moments they shared. He loved socializing with his family and friends. If you knew him, you know he loved his family and talked about them often. He was a friend indeed.

Mark transitioned peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 48 years old.

Mark was preceded in death by grandmother, Louvina Harris; grandmother and grandfather Van and Ethel Thomas; sister, Ashley Thomas; and his nephew, Marquail Thomas.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Taryn; parents, Lena, Earl and Stepfather Sherman; his sisters and brother, Kim, Tequila, and Sherman Jr. Mark will also be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, extended family and dear friends.
