Ha.Ha he was teasing me. the first time I me t walter was when Maria intruced him to us at the Monterey Holy Ghost festa in July, said they met for the first time at a festa at the dance. he always had a great sence of humor, when we would come and visit them, he knew I always called his wife Fatinha, he always joked about that.... we are very lucky to have known walter as long as we did..... Walter Rodrigues Borba, a Plant Operator, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 in Los Banos, California on May 29, 2021. Walter was born in Sao Mateus Terceira Azores on January 7, 1957 to Frank Rocha and Paulina Rodrigues Borba. He lived in Dos Palos and moved to Los Banos where he lived for 43 years. Walter worked in dairy for 20 years and for the Triangle Rock Company for 23 years.
Walter belongs to the Knight of Columbus, Our Lady of Fatima of Los Banos, Our Lady of Miracles of Gustine, D.E.S of Los Banos, Luso America and PFSA.
Walter is survived by his wife, Maria Borba; Children: Gabriel (Rachel) Borba, Paulo (Brittany) Borba and Walter Borba Jr., one grandson Jaxxon Howard, his mother Paulina Borba, a brother George (Angela) Borba, three nephews: Daniel Borba, Frank Borba and Joshua Borba. On Terceira Island, he leaves his mother -in-law Eulalia Fontes, a brother-in-law Francisco (Nelia Coelho) Alvares, a sister -in-law Alvarina Alvares, nephew Nelson Alvares and many cousins.
May Walter rest in eternal peace and know that he will be deeply missed by his family and friends..
