April 19, 1982 - May 26, 2021

Casey K. Baker, 39, of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 in Humboldt.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Survivors include husband Josh of Humboldt, 3 sons Jared, Caiden, and Jace of Humboldt, mother and father Julie and Gary Lowrey of Fort Dodge; brother Corey Lowrey of Humboldt, sister Stacey Nelson of Fort Dodge, grandmother Shirley Nelson of Fort Dodge, grandmother Barb Pirie of Fort Dodge, mother and father-in-law Jackie and Doug Baker of Fort Dodge.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Duane Nelson, and her uncle Phil Nelson, grandparent-in-laws Millie and Gene Baker, and Melvin and Patricia Blunt.
Casey Kay Lowrey was born on April 19, 1982 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated here. On June 9, 2000 she was united in marriage to Josh Baker and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge and then moved to Humboldt. Besides helping raise her 3 boys, Casey worked various jobs as a CNA and did clerical work. She loved all critters and recently started fishing. Casey enjoyed time with her family and babysitting for family and friends. She was wonderful mother and wife and will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

"I remember one day Erica asked for Casey to stay overnight and I said no but at like 3 am or so Erica decided to move her bedroom around and dropped dresser on foot. I woke up to screaming and ran in there and there was miss Casey. But she was always at my house. She became one of my daughters and have always loved her and was proud of the woman she became.Breaks my heart???RIP Casey your not sick any longer. "
