In loving memory of

Jason Durand Davenport
March 8, 1979 - May 23, 2021

Lexington-Jason Durand Davenport, 42 of Lexington passed away unexpectedly May 23, 2021. Jason excelled in many sports in school, including, wrestling, and football. He also had a great love for baseball. He later used that stamina and agility to become one of the best arborist in the area. He could climb trees and maneuver around without hesitation. His greatest joy in life was his family and spending time with them. Jason and his wife, Heather, had two children, Emery and Lexi, which he adored and was always so proud of their accomplishments in life. Jason enjoyed his life, pushing things to the limit to keep everyone on the edge of their seat, and then laughing about it later as he told the stories to others. He is preceded in death by his father, Randy Bruce Davenport, and mother, Deborah Denise Younts. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Heather Davenport; son, Emery & wife Abby Davenport; daughter, Lexi Davenport; sister, Heather Lynn Younts; stepfather Keith Younts. A Celebration of Life service for Jason is scheduled for 1 pm on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Wellspring Community Church, 600 May Road, Thomasville, NC 27360, officiated by Brent Bennett.
