In loving memory of

Shannon Leigh (Mitchell) Cameron
November 21, 1971 - May 18, 2021

On May 18, 2021, Shannon Leigh (Mitchell) Cameron passed away peacefully and gracefully, surrounded by her family, in Scottsdale, AZ. Shannon was born in Bellflower, CA on November 21, 1971. Her family moved to Chehalis, WA where she graduated from W.F. West High School and then received her Bachelors Degree in Business from Washington State University.

Shannon was beautiful, intelligent, fashionable and an incredible businesswoman. But her legacy will be how she treated people, the bar she set as a mother and the love she gave as a wife and friend. She put people first. Shannon was an inspiration to many people, many she probably never met. She had such a love for life, her family, and her health. She loved her family and friends fiercely.
Shannon was such a bright light to everyone she knew. She was the best listener. She helped others see positivity in any situation. She had a heart as big as the sky. Her smile brightened every room she entered. Her laughter was contagious - the kind that lasts so long it hurts as you wipe away the tears. These are just a handful of the things we will all miss about her.

Shannon is survived by her husband Scott Cameron; children Madeline Shay Becker, Carly Jordan Becker, and Mitchell Thomas Becker; mother Rose Shay (Thompson) Mitchell; sister Tracy (Mitchell) Thornburg; nephews Terek Thornburg and Trevor Thornburg. She was preceded in death by her father Dean Hillis Mitchell.

Tributes

"I met Shannon about 25 years ago through a mutual friend. We were both pregnant with our first baby girls (her Mady and our Devon). Our girls went to daycare and preschool together. There were lots of fun times with Shannon and her sweet family. Shannon was quite the baker. My husband still says he?s never had a better cinnamon roll than Shannon?s. I?ll always remember Shannon?s sense of fashion, her baby blues, her smile and her laugh that always lit up a room. My heart goes out to her entire family. Her spirit and love lives on in each of you. RIP sweet girl. While our hearts are grieving, we take comfort in knowing Heaven gained another angel. - Donna Wells"
