Bobby was born June 5th, 1985 at Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines, IA.
Bobby and his siblings joined the family of Barb Weis when he was just over 2 years old and was later adopted by Barb. While she did not give birth to him, she chose to love him forever as her own. Bobby has always been so loving and caring. He had such an amazing heart. He would help anyone he could and cared deeply for so many. He loved to fish the most and that is where he found peace in a life that sometimes became too much. He loved family and that is what meant the most to him.
Bobby leaves behind his Mom and Stepdad, Barb (Charlie) Weis. His brothers and their wives, Michael (Nicole) Gering, Joe (Christy) Gering, Rick Gering, John Wright and Michael (Donita) Weis. His sisters and their husbands, Deb (Zach) Winkowitsch, Maria (Marvin) McCuller, Stephanie Weis and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Marge Sherman, a sister-in-law, Dee Gering and his Great Grandmother, Mary Atwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday May 22nd at New Hope Assembly of God, Student Campus, 6800 Townsend Ave, Urbandale IA 50322 with a lunch following.
