"Dave and I worked together at Minot AFB and again at All American Gourmet in Clearfield, Utah. I watched his family grow and he watched our family grow. He flew to Austin and stayed with us in 1983 during our hit and run loss of our 16 year old son. Dave was smart in his ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft. His mannerisms could rub some people the wrong way but his heart was simply to get things done. He and I had many talks about family and kids. We caught many fish camping with his family in North Dakota. He will be missed."
