Ashley was born December 24, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended various elementary schools in the city and Northwest High school.

Ashley was a daughter, sister, mother, and fiancé. She worked at various telemarketing companies in Omaha, but when not working, she lived a simple and private life. She had a genuine heart of gold, and would help you do anything, if you asked, especially for the kids. She treasured her children and loved every moment with them. She especially wanted to mother a daughter, and we are saddened not to meet baby Bella, she would have been spoiled rotten. Ashley loved her family and friends.

Ashley accepted Christ, and was baptized in April 2010 at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Wayne J. Banks. Recently, she also began a spiritual journey to find peace and her authentic self. Most of all, Ashley was dearly loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

Ashley Thomas with unborn child, Bella transitioned peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

Ashley was preceded in death by grandmother, Louvina Harris; grandmother and grandfather Van and Ethel Thomas; her nephew and best friend, Marquail.

Ashley is survived by her fiancé Martin of 4 years, and her precious children, Mykel and Kornelius Jr. aka KP (father Kornelius Sr.). She was the fourth child of parents Lena and Sherman Thomas, and by her brothers and sisters Mark, Kim, Sherman Jr., and Tequila. Ashley will also be forever remembered by her nieces and nephew and a host of cousins, extended family and dear friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
