Jeffrey Alan Linscheid
April 27, 1958 - May 6, 2021

NORTH ENGLISH-Jeffrey Alan Linscheid, age 63, passed peacefully in his sleep Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his home in rural North English.
Jeff was born April 27, 1958, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Clayton and Cheryl (Grimm) Linscheid. He graduated from Milledgeville High School in 1976, attended Faith Baptist College in Ankeny and received his Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Des Moines Area Community College. On October 26, 1991, he married Marcille Miller in Kalona. Jeff was a Deposits Operation Officer at Hills Bank for over 33 years. He attended Good News Bible Church in Iowa City and was an active member of their Missions Board. Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors; planting trees, gardening, and participating in the Iowa County Master Gardeners program. Jeff loved studying family genealogy and visiting with people, making friends and meeting relatives everywhere he went.
Survivors include his wife: Marci of North English; son: Aaron Jordan (Ashley) Linscheid of Kalona; granddaughter: Annika; parents: Clayton and Cheryl Linscheid of Sterling, Illinois; brothers: Bradley Linscheid of Thomson, Illinois, Greg (Lori) Linscheid of Stillman Valley, Illinois and Gary (Michelle) Linscheid of Loves Park, Illinois; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marion (Katie Mae) Miller of Walhonding, Ohio, Linus Miller of Kinzers, Pennsylvania, Irene (Rich) Buser of Conesville, Ila (Henry J.C.) Miller of Kalona, and Carolyn (Herb) Weiss of Kalona; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother: Bobby Jon Henry Linscheid.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at East Iowa Bible Camp near Deep River, with Pastor Chris Arch officiating. Burial will be at Community Cemetery in rural Deep River. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.

A memorial fund has been established for East Iowa Bible Camp or the Good News Bible Church Mission Fund. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North English is caring for Jeff and his family. Tributes may be made at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
