Anita Barba Torres age 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 3, 2021. She was devoted to her religion and we can all take solace knowing that she is now with our Heavenly Father.
Anita loved to go dancing and making hot sauce to share with her friends.
Anita was predeceased by her loving spouse Alejandro Torres, Sr. Her parents; David Barba Sr. and Anita Bazan Barba: 2 sons, Luiz Antonio Bazan (a.k.a. Tony or Fish) and Jose Manuel Bazan (a.k.a. Radar); 3 siblings, David Barba Jr., Leonard Barba, and Carlos Barba.
Anita is survived by 2 sons: Alex Torres Jr. (Norma) and Roy Torres, Sr. 3 siblings; Emilio "Mickey Barba, Sr. (Myrna), Albert Barba, Sr. (Emma), Mary Barba Botello (Roger). 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Paul Limon, Jr., Michael Anthony Torres, James Limon Sr., Albert Barba, Jr., Leonard Barba, and Roy Torres Jr.

A special Thanks to the staff at Heart-To-Heart Hospice and the Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their dedication and comfort for Anita and for her family during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2021 followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home 4435 Frontier Trail in South Austin. A Funeral Service will also be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Assumption Cemetery will follow the services.
