Julie D. Holder, 60, of Fort Dodge, a longtime resident of Deer Creek Apartments, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7th at 11:00 AM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The services will be livestreamed from the Laufersweiler Funeral Home Facebook page.
Survivors include her dad John Holder of Fort Dodge, brothers Jay, David, and Joel Holder all of Fort Dodge, cousins Joyce Edwards and Danny Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her mother JoAnn Holder in 2013, and her grandmother Ruth Frank.
Julie Dawn Holder was born on May 15, 1960 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1979. Julie was very special person who would always try to put the needs of others ahead of her own. She loved visiting with family, making family dinners and talking with her cousin Joyce from Minnesota nearly every day. Julie was always active at Deer Creek Apartments with her friends and social circles. She enjoyed listening to music, reading books, horses, dogs, and cats.
Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.
