"I went to nursing school with Mary Carol after I graduated from St. Edmonds in 1970. We often got together to read our notes and study at her house. She was a wonderful lady and since I now live in the Chicago area and worked at LaGrange Hospital for 19 years I am sorry I didn?t know she was so near. I live in Bartlett now with my husband and near our daughter and her family. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences on her loss. Mary Jo Sullivan Schulte"

"Mary was the head nurse on the floor that I worked on at Friendship Haven while I was in nursing school (1974-1976). I'm quite certain I would not have made it through nursing school without her encouragement. Such a caring and compassionate lady. My condolences to her family. Kris Haugen"
