"Many have said that Pat wasn't truly our "aunt" but if you asked my mom ( Dode Prats Drapeau) or any of her siblings, they'd assure you that Pat was an honorary member of their family. My son Nick has commented about the praise she gave him on his music career, and her next words were directed at me- to say what a good Mom I was and how it was my good job raising Nick that made him the man he is today. Pat was a good "sister" to my mom, even though they certainly had "sibling rivalry" and disagreements over the course of their lives, they spent most of their childhood together. I wish I could find and share a photo of 4-year old Mom and Pat, dressed up in cute sailor suits, they sand a duet "On the Good Ship Lollipop". Pat visited Dodefrequently when she spent her last years in assisted Living and held her hand on her last visit, the day Mom died. I'm sure Mom was there to hug Pat in heaven when she arrived."

"I called her Aunt Pat but in truth she was a cousin to my mother and was raised more like a sister to her and her siblings. I got to know her more in the last years after Richard passed, I visited her as often as I could at the various places she lived and learned a lot about the early years she spent around the Prats household. She told funny stories and shared tales about some of the 'trouble' they got into as kids and the things they shared. I will miss those visits, but I know you are now reunited with everyone that went before - say hi to Mom for me."

"My heart is grieving for the lose of my spiritual sister. She was always there for me growing up. We share so many life experiences and her unconditional love sustained me many , many times. I know she loved the Lord and that comforts me greatly as I know she will be in heaven to great me. Gracie"

"Pat was very special. She always had that beautiful smile and a kind word. We worshiped together with her and Richard for many years. They both had beautiful voices and used them for the Lord. Our condolences and prayers go out to the family. May you be comforted by memories and peace from the Lord. Hugs, Diane and Wendell Gist"
