"My deepest sympathy to Family of Gordy. We purchased our last two homes from Gordy, so have known him for years. Your Dad and Mom would stop by my home when driving by, we had very pleasant visits. Your Father accomplished much in his life, never heard anyone say anything negative about him, only praise for quality of homes he built. Prayers and thoughts with all of you. God bless, Jean Volkman "

"I will always remember Gordon from my early years in Winona. Gordon had a horse Smokey that he loved and faithfully took care of every day at the Big Valley Ranch in East Burns Valley. Some evenings he would bring his wife and family in a beautiful pale yellow Lincoln Continental convertible. I did not know Gordon personally but it was apparent that he took pride in everything that he had and did. My sincere condolences to his family as it is certain he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May all of your memories be good ones."
