In loving memory of

Kenneth Eugene Anderson
June 30, 1947 - April 15, 2021

Kenneth Eugene Anderson was born on June 30, 1947 to Wilma (Anderson) Clark and Ershel Anderson. Kenneth attended Parkman Elementary School and went on to attend CVS High School. Kenneth met and married Joyce Cooper and to this union was born three beautiful children: Deserrae, Kenneth Jr. and Maurice. Kenneth enlisted in the Navy to support his growing family. They later relocated to California where Kenneth embarked upon a twenty career in the Navy before retiring with honors in 1986.

After leaving the military, Kenneth moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma and lived there for several years. Longing to be close to his family, he moved back to California first to the Bay area where he lived with his oldest son, and then finally moving back down to Murrieta with his daughter. After some time, he moved back to San Diego to be with his younger brother.

Kenneth started attending Muhammad Mosque #8 meetings with his brother and his family. He enjoyed going to meetings and learning more about Islam. Although Kenneth never became a registered member of the Mosque, he did express his love for what he had learned. He even stood up and accepted the teachings and bearded witness (that it is true and good for our people), after listening to his nephew give a powerful and spirited lecture!

Kenneth Eugene Anderson departed his life on April 15, 2021. He Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, both parents, one sister and one brother. Left to cherish his memory are: his ex-wife Joyce Cooper Anderson of San Diego, CA; two sons: Kenneth Jr. (Debra) of Fairfield, CA, and Maurice (ex-wife Junko) of San Diego, CA; one sister Flossie Williams (Leonard) of Oklahoma; three brothers: James Alvin Clark, Eddie Muhammad (Teresa) of San Diego, CA and Henry Newton of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren, one great-grandson, nine nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends, who love and miss dearly.
