Floyd Duane Darnold was born on the family farm northwest of Malvern, IA on January 25, 1940 to Floyd Jay and Bernice Elena (Yoder) Darnold. He married Linda Ioma Hopkins on October 20, 1971 in Omaha, NE. The couple made their home on a farm northwest of Malvern, IA. Their marriage was blessed with three children, David, Dean and Doreen.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and infant brother James Darnold.
Floyd is survived by his children; David Darnold and Dean Darnold of Malvern, and Doreen Tackett and her husband, Elliott of Council Bluffs, IA; brother, Francis Darnold and his wife Connie of Malvern; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of many friends.
