In loving memory of

Ann Marie Mueller
February 2, 1955 - April 24, 2021

Ann Marie Mueller, 66 of Lewiston, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021, at her home.
Ann was born on February 2, 1955, in Winona to Ruben and LeAnn (Eichhorst) Ellinghuysen. As a young girl growing up in rural Lewiston, she was a tomboy, and in the words of her mother, she would want to ride on the tractor, play in the hay barn, and chase after her brothers rather than go to town shopping. Ann graduated from Lewiston High School in 1973. On June 25, 1977, she married Richard Mueller. Ann worked at Security State Bank, Herff Jones, and Chartwell throughout the years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lewiston. Ann was a country girl all her life, and after marrying Rich they raised their 3 boys on their farm south of Lewiston.
Ann enjoyed campfires with her family, ranger rides, sitting outside enjoying the sunshine with a book in her hand, and going for walks with her dog Susie by her side. She loved baking for her family, who loved her cherry rolls and pies of every flavor. Ann passed on her love of baking to her grandchildren who were always anxious to help her in the kitchen. Family was her life; she waited for the bus to drop off her grandchildren after school each day, and her smile never left her face.
Ann's grandchildren were her true pride and joy. She cherished every moment she spent with them.
She is survived by her husband, Rich of 43 years; three sons, Jeffrey, Andrew (Carman) and Dennis (Rebecca); five grandchildren, Alyssa, Emma, Isabel, Ruben and Audrey; five brothers, Larry (Pam) Ellinghuysen, Paul Ellinghuysen (Carol Lamb), Mark (Lin) Ellinghuysen, Philip Ellinghuysen and Keith (Deanna) Ellinghuysen and many nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend Michael A. Lindemann and Reverend Paul Kuckhahn officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday and one hour prior to the service, all at the church. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Lewiston is assisting the family with arrangements. Please share a memory of Ann, sign her online guestbook and view her video tribute when it becomes available at www.hofffuneral.com.
