Greece: April 19th at the age of 88. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Palumbo, DDS; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary & Ed Olsheski; brother, Sam DiGennaro.
Survived by her loving children, Dianne Palumbo-Plowman, Rene Palumbo, Paul Palumbo, Paulette (Brian) Briskie; son-in-law, Don Plowman; grandchildren, Dan Palumbo, Rachel (Michael) McCarley, great-granddaughter, Ellie McCarley; sister-in-law, Charlotte DiGennaro; and many special nieces, nephews, and friends. The family is grateful for Jeanette's home caregivers, who became family, and the compassionate team at Hildebrandt Care Center.
A graduate of Jefferson High School, Jeanette was a cheerleader, majorette, and Italian Civic League May Queen and Harvest Queen. In addition to working side by side with her husband at their Irondequoit dental practice, she enjoyed cooking, travel, golf, and time spent with her many friends and especially her adoring family.
Her loving and generous heart will be with us forever in deepest love.
Family and friends may call at Thomas Funeral Chapels, Tuesday April 27th from 4pm-7pm. Graveside Service Wednesday April 28th, 11am Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Rev Dennis Bonsignore officiating. Please gather at the Dewey Ave cemetery gate at 10:45am to join the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Meals on Wheels, 2180 Empire Blvd, Webster NY 14580 or charity of your choosing.
