"The Hammes family was a big part of my family?s life growing up in Thornburg. Jeanette and Floyd and my parents were good friends, and we spent several days stranded at their home during the snowstorm of ?59. When my mother became incapacitated, Jeanette was the first one to come to help out, taking our laundry home with her even though she had a family of 6 to care for at the time. Jim and I send our deepest condolences to all of the family for the loss. ??"
