Mary F. Owsley
September 13, 1954 - April 20, 2021

Mary F. Owsley, age 66, of Quincy, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:32 a.m. in Blessing Hospital with her loving daughters by her side.

Mary was born September 13, 1954 in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Charley McCarty and Wilma Lamoureux McCarty.

Mary was a graduate of Knox County High school. In 1972 she moved to Quincy from Novelty, MO. Mary had worked as a legal secretary at the Venvertloh and the Irwin law offices in Quincy until her retirement in 2019. She was a long-time, faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed taking regular trips to visit her nephew in Arizona, but her biggest joy was spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters: Alicia Marie Owsley and Trina Lee Vogel and her husband, Curt, who was like a son to Mary, all of Quincy; four grandchildren: Skyler and Hailey Morgan and Layla and Ava Vogel; and nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Johnny L. Powell; and two sisters: Fayetta M. Huffman and Louise Allen .

Service: 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Manago officiating. Please bring a mask if you plan on attending the service.

Visitation: 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church. Please bring a mask if you plan on attending the visitation.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois
