In loving memory of

Rose E. Palermo
March 27, 1924 - April 19, 2021

Rose Emily Cervini - Palermo

A life well lived has passed away April 19, at the age of 97.
She Joined her husband of 55 years, her mother, father, nine of her eleven siblings, all of her in-laws and several of her nephews and nieces quietly and painlessly. By her side were her Daughters, Sharyn (Michael) Christman, Jeanette (Stephen) Silvers, Rosanne (Tom) Ricci and son John (Ann) Palermo.

Rose, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and Aunt Rose will be remembered for her moral strength, compassion, support, dedication to family and friends, but most of all, good food. She could make left - over food a gourmet dinner in a pinch. Always dependable, she was the first there when needed and the last to leave.

In her ninety seven years she worked as a waitress, cleaned houses, including her husband's office buildings, and the Third Presbyterian Church at 4 Meig St. (bell tower too). Rose was a cook for the Genesee hospital day care center serving lunches and caring for the children of the hospital employees. She catered many events for the church and church members, (they loved her Turkey casserole). She retired at the age of eighty five.

Physically she will be sadly missed but she leaves an influential legacy, instilled in the hearts of many and that is how she lives on.

A Kennedy democrat she believed in the poem: Some men see things as they are and ask why; Mom dreamed things that never were and asked why not.

Rose's Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 23, 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd, Webster, NY 14580. Interment in Falls Cemetery.
