In loving memory of

Hattie Kathryn Williams
February 23, 1939 - April 8, 2021

Hattie "Kathryn" Williams was born on February 23, 1939 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the only daughter to the late Roberta Gridiron and Sullivan Foster.

Kathryn was educated in the Pine Bluff school system, attending Merrill High and matriculating to study at AM&N College and Trade School both in Pine Bluff with an emphasis in finance.

She met Earl Williams in 1957 and according to her "it was love at first sight." In 1962 Earl proposed and they were married on June 17, 1963. Following Earl's enlistment in the U.S. navy they migrated to San Diego, CA.

Early in Kathryn's life he accepted the Lord as her personal savior. After making their roots in San Diego she joined Greater Jackson Memorial church of God in Christ where she was an active member and a Missionary. Kathryn's love for the Lord and her obedience was demonstrated in her faithfulness to raise her daughters in the church and her diligent church attendance.

Kathryn's employment was in the financial industry with Handyman and Bank of America. Her quick skill and financial wisdom would certainly serve her well and anyone else who asked financial advice of her.

Kathryn's advice and service seemed to be never ending. She can best be described as one of the sweetest, loving and considerate persons anyone would be fortunate to know. She enjoyed volunteering at her daughter's and grandchildren's schools, Paradise Valley Hospital and in the community, Kathryn certainly left a touch of heaven in the lives of those she met through her gracious and elegant demeanor. Her love and devotion for her family was the capstone of her life.

On April 8, 2021 our beloved Kathryn took her last breath on earth and her first breath in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Clarence Foreech.

Kathryn leaves to cherish her memory and legacy her life partner of 64 years Earl Williams of San Diego, CA; children Lamar Williams (Chanel) of Detroit, Michigan; Monica Sanchez (Jose) of San Diego, CA; and Rochelle Sims (Christopher) of Easley, SC; grandchildren Brittani Williams; Jalen Williams; Eric King, Jr.; Christopher "CJ" Smith II and Makayla Uriarte and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends
