In loving memory of

Lloyd Patrick Coughlin
July 12, 1951 - April 17, 2021

Lloyd Patrick Coughlin, 69, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with his illnesses on April 17, 2021, with his family and friends by his side supporting him.

"The Man, The Marine, The Father." Lloyd spent his younger life growing up in the rough streets of Boston in Dorchester. Guided by a rock of a father and strengthened by the rough ways of the street.

Lloyd believed in a higher way of life, that's why he joined the United States Marine corps at the age of 17, with his parents consent . While in the Marine Corps Lloyd fought passionately and honorably for his country until he was wounded with shrapnel to the back.

Since Lloyd's honorable discharge he has fought tooth and nail for his children, friends and his possession. Following Lloyd's return from Vietnam, he has again survived multiple life and death encounters; from jumping out of airplanes to breaking both of his hips. Lloyd has also survived foreign jungle training in the hills of Guatemala.

Ultimately Lloyd's body objected to his years of abuse and wear and tear and finally had enough. As Lloyd's good friend described him; "He is like a cat with 9 lives." But fear not Lloyd. Your dedication to this country and relentless motivation to raise your four kids has successfully paid off.

Lloyd has built an empire all the while working on his 9 lives and he left one hell of a reputation for the Coughlin Family. As Lloyd's son James says; " Semper fi pops, see you in the next life". Thanks for always being there for us.
