Elizabeth Gail "Betty" Cordes, 72, of Winona, MN died on Friday, April 2, 2021, in Rochester, MN.
Betty was born on April 4, 1948, to Frank and Helen (Pavolovec) Chapman. She was raised in Winona and worked as a pet groomer for the majority of her career. Betty loved all animals. She enjoyed playing Bingo, driving motorcycle, and traveling, especially in the Southern and Western U.S.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Kim (Brad Fakler) Morphew. There was a private family burial held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN.
The family prefers memorials directed to the Winona County Human Society and may be mailed in care of the the Betty Cordes family to Hoff Celebration of Life Center at 3480 Service Drive, Goodview, MN 55987.
