Heather L. Mastrangelo, age 48 of Lake Montezuma, AZ, formerly Streamwood, IL and Gilbert, AZ transitioned into Gods light on March 27, 2021. She had a BS in Nutrition and a Master's in Education, graduating with a straight A average. She bravely waged a fierce four-year battle with an aggressive form of stage 4-breast cancer. She took copious notes the entire time so she could share her knowledge in future seminars about how to heal and nourish the body and soul while participating with medical target drugs and many, many supportive healing modalities, meditation, exercise, supplements and herbs. It was a roller coaster ride of ups and downs but Heather persevered and never stopped researching and evaluating the many options sent to her by friends and family who worked tirelessly to find an answer to unlock the door to health. Everyone noticed that Heather was on the spiritual path of loving kindness.
She filled the room with happiness when she bounced in and said hello. People could not believe she had cancer because her bright blue eyes glowed with inner light and beauty and her thick blonde hair would shine in the sunlight. Heather was a GIVER and would always find a way to share her knowledge with someone asking her for help. Her loving sister, Lynette nurtured Heather and took amazing care of her while she was going to a cancer clinic the last four weeks of her life.
Heather loved juicing with greens just picked from their gardens that her caring boyfriend Brian Murphy planted with her. He was always by her side supporting her every moment with knowledge, love and healing energy. Her love for Taoist meditation, Qigong, Kriya Yoga and hiking to pristine locations expanded Heather's knowledge and love of everything on this planet.
Brian and her mom, Kathy Masters-Jaeckel helped to prepare her for an uplifting departure from the body that finally could no longer support her in her proactive drive to not only survive but to live a life of giving and happiness with Brian and her family. She will be greatly missed by her children Marissa and Vincent Mandarino, her mother and step-father Kathy and Larry Jaeckel, her step-mother Jane Mastrangelo, sister Lynette Kelleher, brother and sister in-law Kevin and Tina Mastrangelo, step-brother and sister Matt and Heidi Jaeckel and step-sister Dee and Tony Minter, step-brother and sisters: Kevin and Courtney Copenhagen and Chriss and Dave Hass. Preceded in death by her father John D. Mastrangelo and brother Johnny K. Mastrangelo.
