Ella Louise Coyle
July 12, 1932 - March 27, 2021

Ella "Louise" Coyle, 88, formerly of Matthews, passed away on Saturday morning, March 27, 2021, in her New Castle home, surrounded by family. She was born on July 12, 1932 in Nicholas County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Sylvan and Minnie (Richards) Foster.
On May 6, 1950, Louise married the love of her life, Charles E. Coyle, in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. Together they shared 55 years, until he preceded in her in death on July 11, 2005.
Louise had lived in Matthews since 1961, where she was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, traveling, crocheting, and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her children: Robert (Kathy) Coyle, Munster; William Coyle, Matthews; Barry Coyle, Oklahoma; Brenda (Danny) Hipskind, Fairmount; Betty (David) Larson, Bluffton; Rebecca Lynn, New Castle; Bonnie (Tim) Marley, Matthews; and Barbara Morgan, Upland; two sisters: Donna Ison, Morehead, Kentucky; and Thelma Ford, Owingsville, Kentucky; 24 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law: Bruce and Jean Ann Coyle; a brother: Roy Foster; a sister: Elsie Burchett; and a grandson: Jeremy Darnell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones-Smith Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 259 N. Main St, Upland, where a visitation will be held from 4-7 pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, April 2, 2021 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jan Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in Matthews Cemetery, Matthews.
