Dian Brooks, 76, of Cumming passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. Dian loved her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her church, Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and attending her kids and grandkids sports events. Dian was a wonderful cook and loved her family gatherings.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James Brooks; her sons, Mike Brooks, Terry Brooks and his girlfriend, Cheri; grandchildren, Justin Brooks, Austin Brooks, Sydney Brooks, Zach Brooks; great grandchildren, Ryan Brooks, Avery Brooks, Forrest Brooks; sisters, Linda Skelton, Brenda Clark, Sandra McMichael; brothers, Allen Plunkett, Alton Plunkett; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
