Dana Evans, 67 of Glenwood, IA, passed away at his home on March 23, 2021. Graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 in the Glenwood Cemetery. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Dana and his family.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials.


Dana Dale Evans, 67 of Glenwood, IA, passed away at his home on March 23, 2021.

Dana was born on November 10, 1953 in Council Bluffs, IA, one of three sons of Artie Clair and Eva Darlene (Ross) Evans. He graduated from high school and served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1975. Dana worked in upholstery and had been employed at the Glenwood Resource Center.

Dana was a member of the First Baptist Church in Glenwood. He enjoyed fishing.

Dana was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Doug.

Dana is survived by his daughter Mandy Evans of Omaha, NE; son Nathan Evans of Glenwood; brother David Evans and wife Donna of Glenwood; niece Wendy Evans; nephew Marty Evans; other relatives; and many close friends.
