"Madeline and family: We are so sorry to receive news of Dale's passing. My dad (Marshall Woodworth) and dale, plus you and I had enjoyed welcome home the Great River Honor Flight for 10 years together both in Quincy and Hannibal. With Dale missing three and Marshall missing two, it is no wonder they were always standing as # 1 and #2 in the Honor Guard line. I know they both understood the 2020 GRHF cancellations due to COVID-19 Pandemic, but were looking forward to the 2021 GRHF Schedule (hopefully) when it is safe for everyone to attend it. Dale was a wonderful Veteran and will be missed by everyone. Mark and Becky (Woodworth Smith, Pittsfield, IL World War II Army Air Corps/Air Force Veteran Marshall Woodworth, Quincy, IL"
