"Aunt Mae, one of the sweetest souls, you?d ever meet. She was truly kind and gentle as loving. She carried me to church for many years. She always made me laugh. Sometimes way too hard. I know her arrival in heaven was a celebration. She has received that glorious new body that she and I talked about on many occasion. She?s free from pain and suffering. Thank the Lord. We will miss you Aunt Mae. Goodbye for now but not forever. Uncle Larry and Tommy Joe. I love you. Love Jamie Ann"

"Larry, Tommy, April, and family, Mae was one of the finest Christian ladies I have ever known. She loved the Lord, her family, her church, and her friends, and she lived and loved to do whatever she could to serve them all. A special mold was created by God for people like Mae, and very few come close to living or giving as much as Mae did. The Heavenly wings she gained this week were made especially for her. We all love her and will miss her for days and months to come. She left us with some great memories to share. I truly believe that she is at home with the Lord and she is just waiting for the day that we all will be together again. I appreciate the kindness that both Mae and Larry showed my mom when she was still here. You will never know how much y?all meant to her and the rest of our family. That was also what was so special about Mar and all her family. All of us at Silver Shoals were a family and we all will miss her as such. Our love and prayers are with you today and always. Wanda M Hastings"
