Carmelo "Carmen" V. Smiroldo

GREECE - Passed away peacefully on March 16, 2021 at age 80. Predeceased by his parents Santo and Maria Smiroldo; brother and sister-in-law Daniel & Winona Smiroldo; sister and brother-in-law Agostina & Carmelo Toscano; nephew Captain Joseph Toscano; mother-in-law & father-in-law Philip & Ida Nasca; sisters-in-law Beverly Nasca & Phyllis Pulvino; brother-in-law Sam Pulvino. Carmen is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Arlene; sister Linda Smiroldo; niece Maria (Kevin) Tamol; and he was a "Gruncle" to Katrina and Daniel Tamol.

A special acknowledgement to Bob and Becky Finnerty, Ben and Lisa Pennetta, Dr. Bob & Barb Russo, Steve, Nora & Christine Coco.

Per NYS regulations, all guests are required to wear a mask and hand sanitize at all services.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 19, from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626. Carmelo's Funeral Mass will be held Saturday March 20, 11am at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Our Mother Of Sorrows Church or Hildebrandt Hospice in his memory.
