Larry Brumbaugh
February 19, 1937 - March 16, 2021

Larry Franklin Brumbaugh, age 84, of Quincy, died Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 9:25 pm in Golden Good Shepherd Home.

Larry was born February 19, 1937 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of James H. and Georgia M. Hamerstrum Brumbaugh. He was married to Edith E. Schutze Sullivan in 1960.

He worked at Quincy Compressor Industry and later opened his own business at B&P Power Sales in Quincy until his retirement.

Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and bowler. He was a former member of Cedar Crest Country Club, Westview Bogey Busters, and Knights of Columbus Wednesday Night Golf Group. Larry loved attending his grandchildren's sporting events and family gatherings.

He is survived by his two sons, Larry W. (Kathy) Brumbaugh, and Gregory A. (Jennifer Ely) Brumbaugh both of Quincy; five grandchildren, Mary Jennifer (Josef) Baumann, of West Bend, WI, Michelle Elizabeth (Shanna Lonsberry) Brumbaugh of Quincy, Larry Ryan Philbert (Lexi) Brumbaugh, of Quincy, Tyler Anthony Wayne (Pilar) Brumbaugh, of Quincy and Whitney Elizabeth Brumbaugh of Quincy; seven great-grandchildren, Mary Etianna Tieman, Paeley Diane Tieman, Emmberlynn Michelle Baumann all of West Bend, WI, Larry Christian Walker Brumbaugh, Lucy May Brumbaugh, Ledger Ryan Michael Brumbaugh, and Penelope Eleanora Josephine Brumbaugh, all of Quincy; and a brother, Harold E. Brumbaugh of Philadelphia, PA.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elizabeth M. Wilkens.

Services: 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Sommerfeldt officiating.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois

Visitation: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday March 22, 2021 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home
