"Beautiful smile and spirit. Always the family historian. Gone to soon"
On September 19th, 1954 Janice Grant was born to Ella Chase and Bill Grant in San Diego, CA. She became the fifth out of ten siblings. Janice graduated from San Diego High School in 1973. After graduating Janice attended community college.
Janice worked as a stenographer and a housekeeper but spent most of her years working as a utility worker for the City of San Diego, retiring after 27 dedicated years of service. Janice enjoyed traveling and entertaining at home with family and friends. However, her favorite pass time was shopping for handbags.
Janice will always be remembered for her caring nature and willingness to give all she had to help her family and take care of others. Janice had a joyful spirit with a dash of sass.
A loving light and wonderful mother that was taking a bit too soon, we will all hold a special place in our hearts for Janice Grant. She gave of herself whole-heartedly without any expectations.
