In loving memory of

Scott Bryon Itami
April 23, 1964 - February 28, 2021

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, the family of Scott Bryon Itami announces his passing from a heart attack on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at the age of 56.

Scott is survived by his wife, Pamela Itami, his parents Daniel and Jean Itami, his brothers Russell Itami (Chris), Steven Itami (Joyce), and his sister Arlette Itami.

Scott was born in Great Falls, Montana, on April 23, 1964. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed hunting with his dog Old Dan and his dogs Abby, Taz, and Annie, who preceded him in death. He never met an animal, dog, or cat that didn't want to go home with him. Scott was a gifted and talented artist with the pencil, refinishing antique furniture, and fabricating solid surface. He was deeply committed to his faith and read the entire Bible twice. He carried the Man in the Glass by Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr. in his wallet, and he lived by those words.

Scott believed in Job 14:5 - "God has decided the length of our lives. He alone knows how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer." He said that he never had a fear of dying because he believed in Jesus.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, on Monday, March 8, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The funeral service and burial will be private.
