In loving memory of

Madi Sue Bright
December 6, 2006 - February 26, 2021

Madi Sue Bright passed away peacefully at home after a brief struggle with congestive heart failure at the age of 14. Madi passed on her own terms, in her own time, in the arms of her Mama. Madi was the sweetest little girl. Madi came to her family as a rescue 7 years ago. Madi brought much joy and love to everyone she met. Madi loved to be in the back yard on warm, breezy days and held her head high with her eyes closed just soaking up the sunshine. Madi very much enjoyed special treats of smoked pork chops, mashed potatoes and ice cream. Her all time favorite activity was rides in Grandpa Ray's red pickup truck with daddy, where she could sit up high and look out. She enjoyed spending countless hours at daddy's office on the weekends and walking around the river out the back door of his office. Jessica was her favorite family member and she could often be found where ever Jessica was She jumped at any chance for a ride in Jessica's Jeep. Madi played a crucial roll in Grandpa Ray's therapy during his fight with cancer and she remained faithfully by his side until his passing. Madi and Grandpa Ray spent countless hours together and he fed her Cheetos, much to mom's dismay. Following mom around, often under foot, was where she could be found the most. Madi wasn't thrilled when she got four fur brothers, but she adjusted and quickly let them know who was the princess and the boss.

Madi, when you came to us as a rescue we were not sure and still are not sure what your first seven years of life were like. However, we are certain in our hearts that the last seven were wonderful for you, as they were for us. The joy, love, cuddles and laughter you gave us will forever be in our hearts and we will think of you every day. Rest easy, fur baby, you were the Princess.

Madi is survived by her daddy Craig, mommy Cathy, sister Jessica, special friend Mike, very special cousin Staci, fur brother's Tucker, Blaise, Dexter and Finley. Grandpa and Grandma Bright, aunts and uncles. Madi was predeceased by Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Ray.

Final Resting Place: Our Hearts.
