In loving memory of

JoAnn Dockery
May 20, 1948 - February 23, 2021

JoAnn Dockery, 72, of Roosevelt passed away February 23, 2021 at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

JoAnn was born May 20, 1948 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Arthur and Eunice Stone. She grew up in Vernal and graduated from Uintah High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

On June 23, 1967 she married Paul Dockery in Vernal, Utah. They were married for almost 54 years and were blessed with two amazing and wonderful sons (one more amazing than the older one). JoAnn and Paul made their home in Vernal followed by a short stint in Southwest Wyoming, and for the last 21 years in Roosevelt, Utah. JoAnn liked to ride horses and take drives in the mountains. She loved flowers and spent many hours planting and tending her flower gardens. She also collected hummingbird figurines and enjoyed the many hummingbirds that visited her flowers. JoAnn had a close group of friends that she greatly enjoyed spending time with especially their weekly lunches. She loved her family and friends above all else and would do anything to help someone in need.

JoAnn is survived by her loving husband Paul, sons Calvin (Heather), Larry (Jessica); grandchildren Hannah, Hailey, Kaden, Justin, Conner, and Karson; and siblings Larry, Fred, John, and Patty.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Eunice Stone.

Based on the safety of her family and friends we will be observing a graveside service Tuesday March 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Vernal Memorial Park 1700 S. 500 E.
