Tributes
Janice Johnson wrote on Feb 25, 2021:
"Homer was one of the first residents I met when I moved to Garden View Care Center in 2014. Everyone said he was our resident Santa Claus because of his long, white beard. In fact, when he decided to have it cut off, I didn\'t even recognize him at first and then he smiled. When I was going to pass him in the hallway, I would tell him and he\'d say \"You go ahead, pretty lady,\" and always made my day. He was a good friend and I will miss him. God bless him for his military service. Janice Johnson "
