Melvie Dean Brooks, a long time resident of Dos Palos, California passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at her residence in Dos Palos. She was 78.
Melvie was born November 22, 1935 in Marietta, Oklahoma. She came to Dos Palos at the age of eight from Marietta, Oklahoma. She worked as a Dietician for 20 years before retiring.
She will be deeply missed and remembered lovingly by her family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mount Moriah FB Church; 21372 S. Reynolds Ave. in Dos Palos. Burial at the Dos Palos Cemetery District. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos.
