Dennis Howard McSwain
October 1, 1946 - May 2, 2015
Dennis Howard McSwain was born in Los Banos, California on October 1, 1946 and passed away on May 6, 2015 at the age of 68. Dennis was a life long resident of Los Banos. He attended Our Lady of Fatima Parochial School and graduated from Los Banos High School in 1965. He is also a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Dennis served in Bietnam in Company C, 2d Battalion, 5th Calvary from April 1967 to May 1968. He served his community with acareer in the Merced County Fire Department and retired as a Fire Battalion Chief and as an employee with the Los Banos Unified School District.
Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing. His most memorable time was deer hunting with his son Doug.
Dennis was preceeded in going to the Lord by his parents; Howard and Alice McSwain, his son Douglas Rene McSwain, his daughter; Frances Marie McSwain and one brother; John McSwain.
He is survived by his sister; Denise Schreiber of Tracy and brother Greg McSwai of gustine. He also is survived by his adopted daughter: Kelly Leon of Farmdale, CA and son Jason McSwain of Farmdale, CA and Jason McSwain of Oklahoma.

Graveside Service will be held at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
